Melting Down

Meltdown is a Nashville-based candle design studio creating objects that blur the line between wax sculpture and scented candle. From iced lattes and soft serve ice cream to florals, cocktails, pastries, and custom collaborations, each design is created with an obsession for detail, transforming familiar forms into highly realistic scented objects.

Founded by Maria Krejci, Meltdown began as a calming creative outlet during a period of uncertainty after immigrating from Venezuela and spending years apart from her family. What started as a personal source of comfort has grown into a collection carried by retailers, businesses, and markets across Middle Tennessee, with custom projects created for brands, events, and special occasions.
